This all purpose pouch is hand embroidered by women in Occupied Palestine. The design is inspired by the traditional Palestinian dress called the thob and features motifs from Gaza in vibrant colors.
This hand stitching work is done by Manjel Ma’qoud, a group we began in December of 2023 in response to the desperate economic situation imposed on Occupied Palestine. In 2024 it provided income generation to more than 80 women.
